Child Safety Standards

Effective: August 18, 2026Last updated: August 18, 2026

JiguBites is committed to the safety of minors. We prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form, and we prohibit child sexual abuse material (CSAM) absolutely. This page describes our published standards against CSAE, how users can report concerns, and how we respond, including reporting to the relevant authorities.

These standards apply across all JiguBites surfaces: profiles, posts, reviews, photos, comments, private messages, group chats, and restaurant content, on both the mobile app and the website. They work together with our Community Guidelines, Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy.

1. Zero Tolerance for CSAE and CSAM

The following are strictly prohibited on JiguBites and result in immediate account termination:

  • Creating, uploading, sharing, requesting, or linking to child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind, including realistic depictions and AI-generated imagery.
  • Sexualizing, grooming, or attempting to groom minors, including befriending a minor to lower their inhibitions for sexual contact, sextortion, or trafficking.
  • Soliciting sexual content, sexual contact, or personal information from a minor, or arranging to meet a minor for sexual purposes.
  • Any other conduct that sexually exploits or endangers minors.

2. Minimum Age

JiguBites requires users to be at least 13 years old. Accounts found to belong to users below the minimum age may be suspended or removed.

3. How to Report a Concern

Anyone can report child safety concerns to us:

  • In-app: use the report option available on user profiles to flag an account, with a reason and details. Reports go directly to our moderation queue.
  • By email: contact jigubites@gmail.com with the subject line "Child Safety". You do not need a JiguBites account to report by email.

If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact your local law enforcement or emergency services first.

4. How We Respond

When we become aware of suspected CSAE or CSAM, we:

  • Prioritize the report for immediate human review.
  • Remove the offending content and terminate the accounts involved.
  • Preserve relevant evidence as required and report confirmed CSAM and exploitation to the appropriate regional and national authorities (in Nepal, the Nepal Police Cyber Bureau) and cooperate with law enforcement requests, including through relevant international mechanisms such as the U.S. National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) where applicable.
  • Do not warn or notify the reported account in ways that could compromise an investigation.

5. Legal Compliance

JiguBites complies with applicable child safety laws in the regions where it operates, including laws on the reporting of child sexual abuse material. We review these standards regularly and update them as our features and legal obligations evolve.

6. Child Safety Point of Contact

Our designated child safety contact is prepared to discuss our CSAM prevention practices and compliance with these standards:
